Mom and I have been enjoying the new makeover at our home. We have so much more room to play ball. Since I have had the problem with my spine, Mom rolls the tennis balls on the carpet and I can still play without all the jumping. Can you imagine a Jack Russell not jumping…well; Mom says I have to cool my jets.
While we were playing, Mom threw the ball and it accidently hit the sofa and came back and hit me on the side of my face, near my eye. She felt terrible!! She got some warm compresses on my face and kept my eye moist. How I love all this attention!!! Needless to say, she hauled me into the veternarians office the next day. He gave me some medications and Mom is supposed to watch me closely for any change on my eye and face. The doctor noticed that my heart mumur was a little more intense than before. He asked that we come back the following week, after my eye was better and after my medications were done. He wanted to check my heart and run some tests. My eye was fine the next day. I’ll let you know how my ticker is doing after our visit. I’m sure I am fine, ’cause I’m a Jack Russell and a tough one at that!!
